Are you becoming overly conscious of your physical appearance as you age? It’s normal. Often we get trapped into doing this, which is not bad because being self-aware is part of the human experience. However, like anything else, there is a fine line between beneficial and excessive. Constant worrying can lead to anxiety, low self-confidence, and even depression. Olya Zhilinskaya is the queen of fresh-faced yoga who helps people fight premature aging and the challenges that come with it.
For those unfamiliar, face yoga is like traditional yoga, but for your face, as opposed to flexing those muscles for body parts. Olya uses her social platforms to share innovative facial yoga exercises that can help relax and rejuvenate the muscles in your neck, jaw, cheekbones and eyes. These techniques prevent aging, improve posture, reduce anxiety and promote self-confidence.
Olya’s passion for facial yoga was born during the pandemic. In a recent interview with Inspirery.com, the wellness instructor shared that she started her facial yoga journey when she started researching natural ways to improve her overall facial appearance. The concept of facial yoga intrigued her from the start, and she immediately jumped in to explore it. She has undergone many professional trainings and has expanded her scope on this subject from different angles, such as anatomy, psychosomatics and the chakra system.
“The main results are better posture, fresher and more nourished skin, better blood circulation and the disappearance of certain wrinkles. As a testament, I feel younger as the days go by,” she shares on Instagram. “And to my surprise, I quit the skincare products I was previously addicted to. By using self-massages and other techniques, I have activated all the natural potentials of the skin which help it to regenerate and nourish itself.
Seeing these results, Olya wanted more and opted for professional training to broaden his perspective on this subject; some classes she took included anatomy, psychosomatics, and the chakra system. “Education is continuous and learning never stops; given that, I didn’t give in despite my degrees and other certifications,” shares Olya. Olya’s knowledge has allowed her to harness her passion in a profession to help countless people reap the benefits of natural remedies for common problems. Her goal is to share her skills and passion with everyone so they can fall in love like she did and feel the benefits.
To do this, Olya uses its platforms to share practical tips and tricks that can help improve posture, health and well-being in different parts. “Facial yoga is not just about working with the muscles of the face, but also with the chakra system, because our face has a projection of all the chakras of the body on it,” Olya explained in a recent Instagram post.
“By self-massaging the chin, we open the root chakra, which affects physical vitality. Lips – Sacral Chakra, linked to creativity and sexuality. Nose and Cheeks – Solar Plexus Chakra determines discipline, achievement of goals and money Eyes – Heart Chakra, which signifies love, compassion and emotional balance Eyebrow – Throat Chakra, which is related to self-expression and communication Forehead – Brow Chakra, our intuition, see the big picture and finally, the hairline – Crown Chakra, our divine beginning and our connection to the Universe.
Olya breaks down the process further by uploading regular instructional videos with step-by-step guides to get your desired results. From tight jaw muscles to full lips and smoother noses, Olya offers natural remedies to help people feel better. Apart from social networks, Olya offers individual consultations and group courses for tailor-made solutions.
