Want to treat yourself to a new do or a manicure-pedicure? Harrods, the iconic Knightsbridge retailer has reopened their hair and beauty salon after a transformative makeover so you can get one too…
Even if you’re not looking for a beauty treatment, the sumptuous and nostalgic interior is still worth a visit.
With a sophisticated retro nod to the old Salon design of 1982, Sparcstudio Design (an award-winning studio focused on luxury spa and wellness design) has furnished the beauty quarters of the luxury department store with shiny peach marble, cream stone countertops, dusty pink walls and finished it off with touches of gold.
This is the living room of your childhood dreams and those of your favorite Barbie Peaches n Cream. Only way, much better.

The Barber Rotunda features stations along a curved central seating area that mimics the original 1982 design, creating both a sense of yesteryear glamor and privacy.
The backwash room is inspired by traditional Japanese spa rituals the Harrods team discovered in Tokyo and features soft ambient lighting and soothing music.
The bedroom also has fully extendable backwash beds, allowing you to lie down while having your head massaged.
Hair extensions, cuts, waxing, massages, body wraps and eyebrow treatments are offered. Just like manicures, of course.
In addition to the extensive menu of treatments, the Harrods hair and beauty salon has partnered with a wide range of powerful brands – Sarah Chapman, Philip Kingsley and Aromatherapy Associates to name just three.
