he yoga industry is booming. Recent research from Reebok suggests that there are now over 10,000 yoga teachers, almost 5,000 yoga businesses and around 380,000 of us practicing yoga every week in the UK.

So who to follow to take your practice to the next level? Below we’ve rounded up some of the best yoga influencers in the UK to follow on Instagram.

Shona Vertue is the woman credited with introducing David Beckham to yoga and her pragmatic approach to health and wellness is, frankly, a breath of fresh air. The Australian and former gymnast recently returned to London – which she calls ‘home’ – after a stint in Oz. Follow her for sound advice on strength training, balanced health psychology, and advice on yoga and mobility.

Cat is the founder of yoga platform My Soul Sanctuary and regularly runs holistic retreats in the UK and overseas, which focus on nourishing body and soul through movement and meditation. Follow her for positive and uplifting vibes that will encourage you to take your flow to the next level.

Nori Olivia is a German yoga teacher living in London. She has her own Light and Grace Yoga platform where she offers private lessons, small group classes and therapeutic release sessions in English and German.

Hannah Barrett is a London-based yoga teacher who runs classes in person and online through the Hannah Barrett Yoga app. This year, she also released her own book, Yoga Happy, which offers tips for developing inner strength and resilience, improving your yoga practice and finding overall calm.
